Committee Chair

Rev. Marc A. Tarantino was involved in Scouting as a youth earning the Webelo's Award and achieving Life Rank in the BSA. He rejoined scouting when his youngest son decided to join a troop. Rev. Tarantino has served in various positions in scouting including, Pack Committee Chair, Troop Asst. Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, Assoc. Advisor, Advisor, Team Coach, Post Committee Chair, Mate, Skipper, Unit Commissioner, and Roundtable Commissioner. He has been very active and has recieved Scouters Training Award, Scoutmaster Key, Community Service Award, God and Service Award, William D. Boyce New Unit Organizer Award, and the District Award of Merit. He is a Wood-badger and is finishing up his Seabadge rudder.

Latanya Williams has been involved in Scouting as a parent since 2010. She has only been registered in the program since 2012. She was first a committee member then becoming committee chair in Crew 11 Carlstadt. She was also the Committee Chair for both Troop and Team 11 also in Carlstadt. Mrs. Williams is currently a SuperNova Award Counselor. She is a great asset to our program. She is currently finishing up her scouters training award.

Joseph Williams has been involved in Scouting since 2011. He served as an Asst. Scoutmaster in Troop 113. In 2014 He joined Crew 11 Carlstadt as a Committee Member. He is currently registered with Ship 9-11 as our Mate. He is a great asset to our program as he is always willing to help out with an outing when needed. He is a Wood-Badger.

 

 

 

  Linda Tarantino has been involved with the Scouting Program as a parent since 2010. She registered with Crew 11 in Carlstadt in 2012. She is also registered with Troop and Team 11 also in Carlstadt. She is a merit badge counselor and has helped many scouts earn merit badges over the past 3 years. She has attended Seabadge and is finishing up her rudder.

Damon Timoldi is a new addition to our Ships compnay joining in 2016. He is very excited about learning more about scouting and the nautical world!

 

 

 

 

Mrs. Tarantino has been involved with the Scouting Program off and on for over 40 years. She was a Den Mother in Union City from the 1960's to the 1970's in which time she earned her Den Mothers Award. She also holds the Cub Scouters Training Award. She rejoined Scouting in 2012 when her grandson started Crew 11 in Carlstadt serving there and finishing up her Venturing Scouters Training Award. She is now registered with Ship 9-11 in Carlstadt and is working as a member of the committee. Como. Jean M. Tarantino passed away on March 16th 2016 surrounded by her family and scouts. Fair winds and following seas Commodore Tarantino you will be missed.
